Google has incorporated the chrome.syncFileSystem API in the Chrome 27 web browser, which can be used by developers to save/synchronize information on Google Drive. The API provides app-specific syncable storage for offline and caching usage so that the same data can be available across different clients.

Apart from these enhancements, there are the regular bug fixes and performance improvements. The previous version, Chrome 26 had brought along new spell check mechanisms, easier multi-user functionality, and the "Ask Google for suggestions" feature.
