iBall Slide Q9703 Launches For Rs 16,000
This Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet with 9.7" screen packs in a quad-core processor.
iBall has just added yet another Android tablet to it line up with the iBall Slide Q9703. It features a 9.7" display with 2048x1536 pixels (264 ppi), and runs the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. The USP of the Slide Q9703 is its quad-core processor. The slate has been priced at Rs 16,000, and would be available across both online and brick and mortar stores, shortly. Earlier, iBall had released the Edu Slide i1017 Android 4.1 slate, priced at Rs 13,000.
Here is a list of the iBall Slide Q9703 technical specifications:
- 9.7" QXGA HD display with 2048x1536 pixels (264 ppi).
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
- 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.
- Octa Logic Core GPU.
- 5 MP rear camera, and a 2 MP front snapper.
- 2 GB RAM.
- 16 GB internal storage.
- MicroSD card slot supporting up to 32 GB.
- 3G (via USB dongle), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi.
- 8000 mAh battery.
The Rs 16,000 price-tag of the iBall Slide Q9703 seems apt considering the device's technical specifications. It closely resembles the Zync Quad 10.1 with similar specs, but packs in a larger display (10.1" 10-point multi-touch screen with 1920x1200 pixels), a better processor (1.5 GHz quad-core processor, with an octa-core Mali-400 MP4 GPU), and of course lesser price (Zync Quad 10.1 is priced at Rs 15,000 online).
