IIHT And Microsoft Launch Learning Programs On Cloud

The project aims to enable people to acquire complex IT skills from anywhere and at any time.

IIHT, a leading technology training organisation in India, and Microsoft have partnered to launch a new certification program called "IIHT Certified Cloud Expert". The new course for IT professionals and aspirants helps them acquire skills necessary for a career in the fledgling cloud computing industry. In addition to private cloud designing and deployment skills, the course involves hands-on experience in virtualisation solutions, IT infrastructure monitoring, and management.

The course is based on "Learning-as-a-Service" on the cloud model using Microsoft Virtualisation Technologies powered by Dell's Enterprise Server Solutions. This real-time learning platform is accessible from anywhere, anytime, and from any device instantly on demand, according to the company. The cloud strategy of IIHT removes the need to continuously purchase, maintain, upgrade, and reconfigure expensive equipment for any IT training course. With a capacity to support up to 20,000 individuals learning at a time, the result is a decrease in cost. The course is available on a subscription and pay only on use basis, and is individually customisable for any IT learning environment.

IIHT aims to achieve a goal of training and certifying 1,00,000 Cloud professionals globally including India in the next 3 years. In addition to the above course, IIHT also has other short-term courses, which will also get licensed Microsoft content (and thus the benefit of Microsoft certification) due to the partnership, and will be offered in 150 cities across the country.

The 600-hour course, which is available in 3 months and 6 months variants will set you back by a whopping Rs 100,000 + sales tax. It goes without saying that the hefty fee will pretty much limit the number of people who can apply. More information can be obtained by visiting www.iiht.com.
