Google Tops Fortune Top 100 Companies to Work For List; Apple, FB Don't Feature

Intel #68, Microsoft #75;12 percent of the top 100 companies are technology related

 

Google ranks # 1 in the list of 100 Best Companies to Work For list recently released by Fortune. Well, this might not be surprising but the most eyebrow raising fact in the list is that Facebook and Apple didn't even make it to the list. Out of the 100 companies listed, 12 are IT related. 

Here's a list of the tech companies that made it to the list:

#1: Google

#2: SAS

#9: Ultimate Software

#11: Qualcomm

#19: Salesforce

#22: Intuit

#24: World Wide Technology, Inc.

#34: Rackspace Hosting

#42: Cisco

#54: Autodesk, Inc.

#63: Hitachi Data Systems

#75: Microsoft Corporation

Back in October 2012, LinkedIn released a similar list of top 100 companies based on feedback from users of the social networking site. The top four companies included Google at #1, Apple #2, Microsoft #3 and Facebook #4 worldwide. Considering geographically, in India, the Most InDemand Employers were #1 Accenture, #2 HP, #3 Oracle, #4 IBM and #5 Microsoft.
