WickedLeak Launches Wammy Ethos, A 7" Android 4.0 Tablet, For Rs 9000

Features a 1.3 mp front camera, voice calling, 3G connectivity, HDMI-Out, and 3500 mAh battery.

 

WickedLeak has announced the entry-level Wammy Ethos tablet in India. It runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) out of the box, and similar to the Wammy Plus, offers GSM voice calling and 3G capabilities. The slate's 7" screen has pixel dimensions of 800x480. It's powered by a 1.2 GHz processor with a 400 MHz GPU, and has 512 MB of RAM. Other features include:

  • 4 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot.
  • Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, and support for 10/100 Mbps LAN (probably via a separate USB extension).
  • Front-facing 1.3 mp camera.
  • Phone calling functionality.
  • 1 x HDMI-Out and 1 x mini-USB 2.0 high-speed ports.
  • 3500 mAh battery.
  • Dimensions of 7.6" (l) x 4.7" (w) x 0.5" (h), weighing in at 350 grammes.

WickedLeak also claims that the gadget supports internet tethering via its Wi-Fi hotspot mode. The Ethos is price at Rs 9300, and is currently available for purchase from the official website.
