Computex 2012: MSI Announces Slider S20 Ultrabook With Windows 8

Includes an 11.6" touchscreen and Intel Core CPU; expected to launch later this year.

Just when I thought I'd seen Windows 8 laptops in all shapes and sizes, MSI announced its Slider S20 ultrabook. As its name suggests, the laptop features a slide-out keyboard. The mechanism is similar to what we've seen on the much-hated Nokia N97. This design is better than the recently announced Samsung Series 5 Ultra Convertible, because MSI's offering doesn't expose the keyboard in tablet mode.

The Slider S20 is powered by an Intel Core CPU. It features an 11.6" touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, and USB 3.0. Currently, there's no official information regarding pricing and availability. However, reports suggest that it might be released after September.
