Read trivia about past and present Olympic venues; one lucky winner will get a free ticket to the games.

The London 2012 Olympics is just around the corner, and a special foursquare page dedicated to the mega sporting event has now gone live. The page offers information about past, current, and future Olympic stadiums and sports venues, providing interesting trivia about not just the games but also its training facilities.

Through a map, you can click on a location of your interest and unearth its Olympic roots. The page will soon be updated with the training locations of athletes and the places that inspire them. Moreover, users who "check-in" to any one of the Olympics venues listed on the foursquare web service or any other sporting venue more than twice will get access to a specially created Olympics badge, along with a chance to win a ticket to the games. Simply follow the IOC page on foursquare to get the badge. Of course, competition will be stiff as only one ticket is up for grabs.

Once you get the foursquare Olympic badge, the following message will pop up: "In addition to staying healthy and active, you've just unlocked the Olympic Day badge! Clearly you're well on your way to achieving your fitness goals, now go reward yourself with a fresh fruit smoothie. For a chance to win a trip to the Olympic Games, click here".
