Here's Why macOS Sierra Looks Exciting

Apple has once again rolled out a new updated operating system for Mac computers recently, dubbed the macOS Sierra. If you are an Apple Mac user, you can get the free update from App Store.

Here's a list of few Mac computers that support macOS Sierra: Late-2009 and newer iMac, 2010 and newer Mac mini, 2010 and newer Mac Pro, Late-2009 and newer MacBook, 2010 and newer MacBook Air, and 2010 and newer MacBook Pro.

So, with this new update being released, let us have a look at what makes it pretty exciting.

Free Storage In An Optimized Way:

With the new update, users can opt in to automatically delete files from trash after a month, unlike the manual way of emptying the trash as of now. Along with this, your Mac computer will now automatically sync with your iCloud account and remove older files in your computer and keep them on iCloud. So, you will still the file on the Mac, but you will have to click on it and retrieve it from the cloud, to start using it. This is certainly a very good feature, however, you will need to have an active internet connection in order to restore the file from the cloud.

Unlock Mac Through Apple Watch:

In simple words, this feature allows you to unlock and log in to your Mac without the need of typing in the password. All you have to do is, wear an Apple Watch, and Mac will recognize it. However, for this feature to work seamlessly, you will need to have Mac, iPhone, and Apple Watch with Bluetooth turned on, and all these three device should be running on the latest operating systems.

Copy And Paste Across Apple Devices:

Usually people who work on Macs get inside the Apple ecosystem with iPhones and iPads, and for these core Apple systems users, macOS Sierra brings a feature called 'universal clipboard' that allows users to copy and paste text, photos, and videos across devices in the Apple ecosystem. However, for this, users should have all these devices logged in to one iCloud account.

Along with these major changes, macOS Sierra gets a couple of small, yet innovate updates. The new OS update allows you to change Siri's voice while you can control the playback on music app through the voice assistant. Also you can now watch your favorite video in a small box floating in a corner while continuing your office work, or checking mails, etc. This makes sure you do not miss out anything.
