TechTree.tv: Seven Years Of YouTube
A look at how the video-sharing website has grown through the years.
It's been seven years since Google's video-sharing service, YouTube, first surfaced, although it was bought-out by the search giant only in 2006. Since then the service has grown by leaps and bounds, hosting not only amateur videos, but also important landmarks in history. Considering that anything in the limelight has a dedicated YouTube Channel, the service's popularity will only strengthen with time. At times, it also throws up some Frankenstein's Monsters (read Rebecca Black). For now though, here is a video that depicts its rise and growth through the last seven years that it has been around.
