MyGov Android App To Be Available In Multiple Languages

The Android app was launched on July 1 to mark the start of the 'Digital India Week'.

 

Recently, the popular crowd-sourcing platform MyGov which allows Indian citizens to directly contribute to decision making of the Narendra Modi government was launched as an Android app marking the start of the Digital India Week.

Though the app was initially launched in English a week ago, it will soon be made available to the Indian citizens in multiple languages encouraging people who are illiterate in English language can also contribute for good governance.

Adding more in to this, the app ever since its launched has received a rating of 4.8 on the Google App store with more than 1,000 installations so far.

It is also being said that users will also be able to take pictures on a real time basis using the phone camera and use the photo gallery of the phone for attaching images while posting comments in multiple languages.

However, it is not yet learned as to which languages would the app be made available in.

It is worth noting that the app communicates ideas and suggestions of citizens on the central government's important initiatives like Clean Ganga, Clean India, Girl Child Education, Skilled India, Job Creation, Digital India etc.
