Amazon Launches New Kindle Paperwhite With New Font For Better Reading

The new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite is available for pre-order and starts shipping on June 30.

Amazon has recently come up with its new, sharper Kindle Paperwhite with a 300 ppi display and new font and text rendering engine.

While it is now launched worldwide, the Kindle maker seems to have been very much positive about the Indian market as the latest Kindle Paperwhite has been brought to India the same days as the rest of the world got it.

Coming to the pricing of the new Kindle, it would be coming with the same Rs 10,999 price tag as before while the WiFi+3G version will be available at Rs 13,999.

The new high resolution display of the latest Kindle actually means that there can be more words per pare and much sharper text than ever before.

Also, the new Bookerly font has been designed for reading on digital screen at any size while introducing a lighter, more graceful look outperforming other digital reading fonts to help customers read faster with less eyestrain.

All these points being said about the new Kindle Paperwhite, Amazon claims to have improved hyphenation and spacing, character placement and overall layout.

However, coming to the availability of the device, the new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite is available for pre-order now at http://www.amazon.in/paperwhite and starts shipping on June 30 after which it is said to be available in over 500 retail outlets across India.
