Xiaomi Might Launch A Smart Water Purifier On June 10

With the smart water purifier, Xiaomi seems to be planning to create an ecosystem of its own connected home devices.

It looks like Xiaomi is trying to take over every segment of home devices with a number of products including an air purifier, smart scale, smart TVs and much more.

Now, the Chinese tech company might be planning on launching its new smart water purifier. Well, if in case you did not know, Xiaomi also has a popular water purifying company in China.

However, to add more into this, there were news and rumours surfacing online claiming that Xiaomi was working on a smart water purifier.

Xiaomi has posted a teaser on Weibo that shows an unannounced product to be launched on June 10. While it doesn’t specifically mention what is in store, the water ripples at the bottom could be a subtle hint at the forthcoming Water Purifier.

However, it is worth noting here that Xiaomi as part of its fifth anniversary sold more than 1.34 million connected devices alongside 2.12 million phones.

During the 12 hour sale, the company managed to sell 770,000 smart appliances, 208,000 Mi Bands, 79,000 Mi Wi-Fi, 38,600 Mi TVs, and 31,000 Mi Air Purifiers, and 247,000 and 45,000 units of the Mi Power Strips, Mi Smart Scales respectively.

However, while we are not yet clear about the device to be unveiled on June 10, all we can do is to wait for a few more days until the actual event.
