ZTE To Launch Nubia Smartphone In India On May 19

Though it is not yet clear, we suspect the company to launch the entire Nubia Z9 series.

 

Chinese smartphone maker ZTE is all set to bring its popular ZTE series smartphones to India with the launch being held on May 19, Tuesday.

To add in more on this, an exclusive page has gone live recently on Amazon India website for the new ZTE Nubia smartphone.

The Amazon Page displays a part of the smartphone and just the words "Unlimit Yourself". By this, we are still not sure which smartphone is the company planning to launch first.

However, some details given on the page reads out that the new Nubia smatphone comes WITH an SLR camera and a sophisticated design. But, the page prompts the users to register themselves to know more about the launch.

With these slight details, we can pretty much guess that the ZTE could be launching the Nubia Z9 Max or the Nubia Z9 mini which were recently launched in China.

Yet, it is still not clear which smartphone is being released by the company on May 19. It could also be that the company might also launch the entire Nubia Z9 family consisting of Z9 Max and Z9 mini.

To add in more details, while the Nubia Z9 mini comes with a 5 inc display, 1.5 GHz octa core Snapdragon 615 processor, 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, the Nubia Z9 Max has a bigger 5.5 inch full HD scren with an octa core SNapdragon 810 processor and 3 GB of RAM.

It looks like, India has definitely become a popular smartphone market for brands like ZTE, Xiaomi and Meizu to take part in.

However, this is nothing but bringing more competition into the market which might seem positive for the end user as they get more competitive and cheaper devices.
