Fujitsu Smartphone Now Allows You To Unlock With Iris Recognition

The unique iris pattern of the user is scanned through a front facing infrared camera and infrared LED light.

 

With fingerprint locking technology coming in  with many of the recent smartphones, the slide, pattern and number locks have been lost somewhere in the middle of the ocean.

But, now, it looks like a new smartphone in Japan mobile market is all set to take on the fingerprint technology with its iris recognition to unlock smartphones.

Japan's Fujitsu has come up recently with a new smartphone dubbed as Arrows NX F-04G which is replacing the phone passwords with iris recognition technology.

Fujitsu as a smartphone maker was never seen making rounds in the mobile market, but, however, its new technology with breath taking security, the iris recognition technology.

Such technology was never before seen even among bigshots like Apple and Samsung. However, there was rumour that Samsung is working on incorporating iris-scanning technology, but, it looks like Fujitsu has succeeded in the war.

Along with this, the Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G comes with some killer specs like 5.2 inch display screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 20.7 MP camera, 3120 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

Adding in a little about the iris recognition, the smartphone uses a front facing infrared camera and an infrared LED light to illuminate the user's eyes, verifying their unique iris pattern.

However, the smartphone might be available only in Japan now taking some time to bring the device into the global market.
