MIUI 6 Update To Roll Out To All Redmi 1S Devices This Week

Xiaomi to take their customers on a ride with the MIUI 6 update being released to Redmi 1S this week and also to all other devices very shortly.

 

Xiaomi seems to have a good news to all its Redmi 1S users who were patiently waiting for the MIUI OS 6 update. For now, the users will be able to download and install the beta version of the new update and sadly, for the official release you may have to wait for a couple of weeks.

But, this is the usual procedure which every smartphone company undertakes to enable the public to check out for any unforeseen imperfections.

The Chinese mobile giant is also looking forward to release the MIUI 6 updates to its entire smartphone lineup at a later stage.

As we all know MIUI OS 6 is the latest version of the OS which has been greatly inspired by iOS and yet has thoroughly customized Android overlay. The OS abandons Android’s two-level interface and provides a flat, polished look with consistent app icons.

To remind you, the Redmi 1S is not the first device to receive the MIUI 6 update as previously Xiaomi had officially released the same update to their Mi 4 devices.

Also, just like with many other custom ROMs, MIUI 6 also has an unofficial version of the ROM that is currently available for download if you love to risk your hands. But, we strongly recommend you to always wait for the official release of the update that will be pushed directly into your device from Xiaomi which is just a few days away.
