Last Chance To Grab A Xiaomi Mi3; To Go On Sale Close To Diwali

The comapany will also roll out a priority pass system, giving preference to people who tried buying the device multiple times

It seems that Xiaomi is incapable of doing two things at once. Busy selling its budget Redmi 1S device in India, the company had discontinued sales of its flagship Mi3 smartphone. However, now we're getting the hear that the company is bringing the Mi3 back to the country, and will go on sale around the time of Diwali.

The sale will in all probability will be the last chance prospective buyers will have to get their hands on a shiny new Mi3. While it isn't known how many devices the company will make available in upcoming flash sale, Xiaomi VP, Hugo Barra, did say a new system of sale will be introduced for buyers on Flipkart.

Xiaomi will adopt a priority pass system, which will be given to people who've tried multiple times to get their hands on the Mi3 but were unable to do so. The company will automatically place the Mi3 in their carts on Flipkart, to buy which all they have to do is complete the payment process.

Apart from this, Barra mentioned that the return rate for the Redmi 1S was 1%, putting to rest claims that Xiaomi devices were prone to not functioning well. The company has also been making personal calls to buyers who left a one-star rating for their devices, in order to understand what they could do to improve their service.

For a more long term focus, Xiaomi will hire engineers in India to work on localization of the UI. The company is also crowd sourcing language translations of the UI, in order to further broaden the appeal of its devices in the country.
