iPhone 6 Gets Disassembled A Week Before The Official Unveil

Considering that we got our first official glimpse of the final product a week ago, this one should indeed be taken with a pinch of salt.

China Telecom had revealed the official press shot of the upcoming iPhone 6 a week ago and now someone from Russia managed to get the parts assembled to form what would be the iPhone 6. Indeed this is not the first time that the iPhone 6 was assembled. The past leak was a rather rudimentary build with the pieces literally placed together to show the final assembly.

The new 3 minute long video is indeed an in depth one. So much so that the reviewer actually peels off the screen to reveal the internal parts, all of which apart from the battery seems to be in there.

One thing that does come to light from the video is that the iPhone 6 will sport the dual tone flash that first debuted on the iPhone 5s. The flash that was previously thought to be a single LED, seems to have two of them fitted in that tiny blob next to the camera lens.

As for the model debuted in the video, it certainly seems like one of those prototypes that we saw in past leaks (the unpolished lightning connector is a clear indicator of that). Clearly Apple would not build an iPhone that cannot be placed flat on a surface. Design-wise as well, the company has never worked with protruding design elements in the past apart from the recent iPod touch, which again is a media consumption device as compared to the iPhone which has to be built for input.
