Stephen Elop’s Green Lumia 1520 Finally Goes On Sale At AT&T

The handset that Stephen Elop teased at BUILD 2014, has finally made its way into the real world.

If you paid attention to the BUILD 2014 conference and Stephen Elop’s presentation, you will remember that he pulled out a rather unique looking Nokia Lumia 1520 in green. The green colour did look a bit different and last we heard about it, was from EvLeaks who claimed that it would launch on the AT&T network only. Well, the rumour did outlast EvLeaks himself, and is now true as AT&T has finally launched this limited edition handset on their network.

The colour of the handset is certainly the most unique selling point (for those of you love all things green) apart from the massive 6 inch display. Apart from this everything is pretty much the standard fare and you get exactly what you get inside a normal Lumia 1520 at a higher asking price (approx. 35,000 INR).

Of course the green monster will only be available on the AT&T network in the US for now. Since too many aren’t interested in such a monster of a handset any ways, it may never see a launch outside the US as well. For now, all we can think about is when will Microsoft announce the Lumia 930 in India?
