Leaked: Images Of Sony's Xperia C3 'Selfie Phone'

The handset appears on a Weibo account before the official announcement.

 

While Sony is busy teasing its fans with an upcoming smartphone built for the selfie-conscious crowd, a few images of the handset have leaked online via a Weibo account. The images show the handset in black and a new turquoise colour with a large front-facing camera and an LED flash as well.

Sony had recently tweeted out that it will be making an announcement on Tuesday about a smartphone that will allow you to “See your #selfies in a whole new light”. Clearly that stands for the front-facing LED and the large camera sensor that the leaked images of Xperia C3 show.

The phone will also come with a user-replaceable 2,500 mAh battery unit, indicating that this handset is definitely a mid-range one. Sony’s high-end handsets are usually slimmer and come with fixed batteries, which help them deliver a slim construction.

None of the other specifications have been revealed as of now, but the handset certainly packs in a large display.
