The Official Pinterest App Finally Arrives On Windows Phone

It’s clearly not what you expected it to be.

Pinterest like most other social networks these days, has finally decided to show some love to the budding Windows Phone community and launched their all-new Pinterest app for the Windows Phone platform.

The app comes with the 'beta' tag; meaning that this isn’t a finished product, because the it is definitely not what you would expect after such a long wait. The app is basically a mobile version of the website running with some Windows Phone menu options added to the mix. Definitely looks like those cheap apps similar to the official YouTube app that Microsoft still proudly displays on its Windows Phone Store.

The app offers pretty much limited functionality and is apparently not integrated into the phone to any extent what so ever.

There are much better apps for Pinterest out there, which actually look like they have been built with some effort such as Scrapbook for Pinterest, pin.it which also come with dynamic live tile support as well.

Clearly this app has a long way to go. Still then you can go ahead and give the official Pinterest app a shot if you love the platform and don’t forget to leave them your much-needed feedback as well.
