HTC One Vogue Edition (M8 Ace) Finally Goes Official On Its Chinese Website

To be launched on the 3rd of June.

The HTC One M8 Ace has been showing up in leaks for a very long time. Well, its Chinese sibling, the HTC One Vogue Edition has finally gone official on HTC’s Chinese website. Both phones are supposed to be exactly similar with only the radios being a bit different.

The device is clearly made out of a plastic shell which seems to be a unibody design. When it comes to the colours, the One Vogue Edition comes in White, Black, Blue and Red, out of which the Red and White models come with a glossy finish.

In terms of specifications, there are currently no details about the display apart from it being a 5 inch one. Rumours have it that the display will indeed be a 1280 X 720 pixel one as HTC will indeed need to bring down costs to keep the price well within the mid-segment. The other area where HTC has tried to cut down costs is by omitting the Duo Camera with an UltraPixel sensor. Many would obviously take this as a plus point as the UltraPixel sensor technology clearly needs to be worked upon.

Other specs have indeed remained the same. The processor being a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at a brisk 2.5 GHz and the primary camera being a 13MP unit with HTC retaining the front-facing 5MP unit from the One M8.

There is no word on the pricing just yet, but the phone is said to compete with the GALAXY S5 since the latter also comes with a plastic construction.
