HTC One M8 Prime Render Leaks; Shows A Protruding Camera Lens

Could this be the final look of the rumoured HTC One M8 Prime? Let’s hope so.

Finally, we now have a crystal clear view of what the rumoured HTC One M8 Prime will look like. And boy, does it look good! Definitely a much needed change from the all-metal design theme that has made its way onto many HTC handsets down the line since the HTC One (M7).  It’s all thanks to @EvLeaks who has indeed been putting up leak after leak about the rumoured QHD specd flagship from HTC.

The serial leaker took to twitter to give us our first glimpse of what is rumoured to be the HTC One M8 Prime — the QHD display sporting sibling of the M8. The 360 degree view given below clearly shows the rumoured matte-finished Aluminium Silicon Carbide construction from every single angle possible. What is noticeable however, is the fact that the camera now protrudes out the rest of the body which is similar to the older HTC One X.

Many of us appreciate the Duo Camera technology which allows further tweaking in terms of an image’s depth. What we are not fans of, is the UltraPixel sensor which somehow seems to be  purposeless technology for now. If HTC does include a bigger UltraPixel sensor unit (which could be the reason why the lens protrudes out of the body here) may be things will actually fall in favour of the company. But for now, we would rather have a simpler camera sensor which as proved by most manufacturers, is pretty much capable of delivering better images.
