Samsung’s Tab4 Series Finally Goes Official

Sports refreshed designs with faster quad-core processing.

Samsung has also seen its fair share of leaks this year. No, we are not talking about the GALAXY S5, but the much-awaited GALAXY Tab4 range. We all expected the tablets to be launched at the MWC, but somehow Samsung did not feel the need to show them back then.

The new GALAXY Tab4 range seems to have hit the sweet spot this time around, striking the right balance between design and processing power. The design has seen a complete departure from its plasticky past; and has moved on to the faux-leather design theme that began with the Note 3. The bezels have shrunk and the tablets are lot lighter as well.
What has also changed is the processing speed. The new 1.2 GHz quad-core processors and the 1.5 GB RAM, should be sufficient for running all the latest games and apps with ease. Also included is Android’s latest and greatest KitKat running straight out of the box. On the back are 3 MP fixed focus camera modules, while the 1.3 MP sensors take care of all the video calling capabilities of the devices.

The configurations remain unchanged across the Tab4 range with only the screen dimensions and battery capacities changing depending on the screen size.
