HTC's Flagship Phone Gets A Hands-On Treatment Prior Official Launch

Saves us from HTC’s torturous 'New One' teaser videos.

HTC fans can finally get a preview of the new HTC One thanks to a lengthy hands-on video. While the original user took down the video, we still have proof of the New One’s twin-camera set-up that probably comprises of two-lenses with different focal lengths.

It’s a twelve minute long video and we have no clue how the user managed to get the handset in the first place. We're quite sure that the Taiwanese manufacturer will make his life difficult. Anyway, we should be thankful to him for letting us watch the upcoming phone's aluminium unibody on full glory.

Going by the video, the New One packs in a micro-SD card slot and also has a refreshed BlinkFeed feature along with some minor changes with the music player. What is interesting though, is that the notification bar at the top is transparent, and keeps changing colours as per the app below it. This is definitely not the ‘immersive mode’ that appears in the KitKat flavoured Nexus devices and custom ROMS, but appears to be more like an iOS design theme.
