Intex Launches Aqua Curve For Rs 12,500

The 5-incher packs in MediaTek quad-core processor and 8 megapixel camera.

Domestic brand Intex, mainly known for Farhan Akhtar's annoying ad, has rolled out a new phone in its Aqua series. Called the Aqua Curve, the new entrant sports a 5" screen with pixel dimensions of 960×540 pixels. The OGS (One Glass Solution) screen is said to slightly curved at the edges. We guess it's somewhat like 2.5D screens that we've seen on the Lumia 800, 920, and HTC 8X. The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz. Other specs include 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 8 megapixel auto-focus camera, dual-SIM functionality, and 2000 mAh battery.

Apart from the black, the Aqua Curve comes in bright red and cyan. With a price tag of Rs 12,500, the phone competes with XOLO Q800 and Nokia Lumia 525.
