Eddy, India’s very own Android-based learning tablet for kids has been launched by Metis Learning. It is targeted for children aged between 2 to 10 years. Eddy comes with learning content curated by experts and a kid-safe environment. The tablet comes equipped with over 150 high-quality learning games, linked to school curriculum and covering key learning areas including language, math, our world and creativity. Children can read books, learn to play the piano, explore the world and the universe as well as practise math through games on Eddy. The tablet’s proprietary technology allows kids to play in a safe zone with access to only suitable apps. Parents can create up to three child profiles on Eddy to ensure that each child gets relevant content as per their needs. Eddy comes with a 1024 X 600 IPS screen and has a 0.3 MP front camera and a 2 MP back camera. It's packed in a 1.6 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB RAM . It has 8 GB of internal storage and comes with a food grade, shock absorbing cover to reduce the possibility of a damage.
