Lenovo Introduces ThinkPad S1 Yoga And “Haswell” Powered Ultrabooks

Lenovo has introduced the ThinkPad S1 Yoga and a new range of ThinkPad Ultrabooks in India. This range includes the Lenovo ThinkPad T440, T440s, and X240s Ultrabooks, all focused on the enterprise segment. Lenovo ThinkPad S1 Yoga is a multi-mode device, which is designed to double up as an Ultrabook and Tablet. The ThinkPad S1 Yoga flips 360 degrees, from the laptop mode to stand mode, and tent mode to tablet mode. Lenovo has designed a lift and lock system that disables the keyboard in the tablet or stand mode. The range starts from Rs 80,000 onwards.

Lenovo ThinkPad T440 is an Ultrabook with 14" HD screen and comes with optional multi-touch capability and a track pad that supports Windows 8 gestures. It features a 4th Generation Intel core processor, 1 TB storage, and claimed 10 hours plus battery life. It has the military-specific durability and glass fibre design for a tough yet light laptop. The price range starts from Rs 78,000 onwards.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T440s has a carbon fibre top cover, which makes the Ultrabook light and durable. A wider range of connectivity options like mini-display Port, VGA, USB, and SD card reader make viewing, sharing, and transferring data easier. It is powered by the latest Intel Core i5 processor and has touchscreen capability with Windows 8 Pro OS. This model costs Rs 90,000 onwards.

Lenovo ThinkPad X240s Ultrabook is the thinnest and lightest ThinkPad. It is 17.65 mm thin and weighs 2.84 lbs only. It offers VGA, Mini-DisplayPort, and two USB 3.0 ports. It features Full-HD IPS touch screen display, rock-solid carbon fibre construction, and a glass TrackPad. It comes with a hefty price of Rs 95,000 onwards for the sleek yet sturdy combo.
