Amkette Acoustix Launches Audio Devices

Devices include entry-level headphones and mini speakers.

 

Amkette has added a range of headphones and speakers to its newly-formed audio products family, Amkette Acoustix. The product line includes Trubeats headphones — Free Spirit and Slix, and speakers — Metal and Solo.

The Trubeats range promises to offer a "unique sound experience while on the go" via its headphones and mini speakers. Metal, on the other hand, is a Bluetooth-enabled portable device with a built-in mic, making the speakers perfect for both parties and attending phone calls. The Solo is a set of ultra-portable and easy to carry speakers.

While Free Spirit has been designed for extreme comfort keeping students in mind, Slix is more for users with an active lifestyle. The latter is compatible with all smartphones, tablets, and laptops, and the former also works with MP3 Players. The Free Spirit has a built-in mic and remote for music and call control, Slix is Bluetooth-enabled and has magnetic clips to make it easy to wear.

The Trubeats headsets, Free spirit and Slix cost Rs 2000 and Rs 3200 respectively; and the Speakers, Jukebox and Metal have been priced at Rs 1300 and Rs 3000.

We have seen a few X-mini speakers in the market for quite a while now. Has Amkette missed the bus, or can it also manage to grab a healthy slice of the pie?
