The 'Stylish' Spice Stellar Glamor Mi-436 To Release Shortly

This entry-level smartphone with 512 MB of RAM runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2.

Spice's new smartphone in its Stellar series, called the Stellar Glamor Mi-436 has been spotted on the company's official website, and is slated to release shortly. The last Stellar offering by Spice was its Virtuoso Pro that is priced at Rs 8,000, and comes with the Spice Cloud support. Like the Stellar Virtuoso Pro, the Stellar Glamor Mi-436 is driven by a dual-core processor, and even betters the Virtuoso Pro in terms of the operating platform, Android 4.2.

However, Spice's new Glamor device packs in only a modest 512 MB RAM, which is likely to result in a not so smooth Android performance. The key technical specifications of the Spice Stellar Glamor Mi-436 as seen on its official website are:

  • 4" display with pixel density of 800 x 480 pixels
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system
  • 1.2 GHz dual-core processor
  • Dual-SIM support
  • 5 MP rear camera, and a 1.3 MP front snapper
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 4 GB internal storage
  • MicroSD card slot for expansion up to 32 GB
  • Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), 3G and micro USB connectivity]
  • Access to Google Play Store supported
  • 1400 mAh battery

The price of the Spice Stellar Glamor Mi-436 is not available at this point in time. But considering its key tech-specs, the smartphone might be priced around the Rs 7000 mark. This device is also likely to compete with another mid-ranger, the Intex Cloud Y2 that is priced at Rs 6,200.
