Those who are looking at getting a new passport can now do so right from their Android devices. The free app called mPassport Seva lets users fill up their passport applications, track its status, and look for the nearest Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) apart from other information based on which you can get your Passport. Here are as many as 77 Passport Seva Kendras, as per the app description.

Using the app you can also keep track of any RTIs that you have filed for. That being said, it doesn’t give you details regarding the documents that need to be submitted. However, all that information is available on the Passport Office's official website. Overall, the app is very easy to use, and is very neatly packaged as well. It's now available on major mobile platforms such as Android, iOS, and Windows Phone.
