The 7" slate comes with a SIM card slot to make voice calls. The sports an Aluminium unibody design, and weighs 350 grams. The Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth features a 4100 mAh battery, which the company claims will give the slate a two-week long standby.

The key technical specifications of the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth tablet include:

  • 7" 10-point multi-touch HD display.
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
  • SIM card support for voice calls.
  • Supporting 1080p Full HD video playback.
  • 1.6 GHz dual-core processor.
