TAG Launches Pro Series of 2.1 Speakers In India

These speakers support Plug and Play USB support, and are priced quite economically.

 

Technology and Gadgets (TAG), an Indian electronics distributor has released a new range of speakers called TAG-PRO series, that consists of two 2.1 channel speaker variants, TAG-3224 and TAG-3608. A 2.1 speaker set generally does not have a separate physical channel for the low frequency effects, as the speaker set down-mixes the low frequency components of the two stereo channels into one channel for the sub woofer.

The TAG-3608 variant has wooden externals, and is said to be sturdy. It is capable of producing output of 38 Watts RMS. TAG's 3608 supports plug and play functionality from USB, Memory cards and Aux-in. A built in stereo FM can also be made use of by users. The TAG 3608 would shortly be available in retail stores throughout the country, and is slated to have a price tag of Rs 2,800, and users would get a year's warranty through TAG's authorized service centres.

The other product, the TAG-3224 features a wooden sub-woofer said to sport a user-friendly control panel that supports inputs taken via USB and Memory Cards. The device supports Plug and Play, and also comes with a built-in Stereo FM Radio. The TAG-3224 has a price tag of Rs 2,100 making it slightly lesser priced in comparison to the TAG-3608. Users would get a 1 year warranty via TAG's authorized service centres.
