Sony Announces Xperia M And Xperia M Dual

The 4-inch handsets running Android 4.1 pack in a 1 GHz dual-core processor and 5 MP camera.

Sony's obsession with alphabets continues with its latest mid-range Android handset. Dubbed as the Xperia M, the handset will sport the company's "OmniBalance design", which is similar to its flagship Xperia Z. Keeping up with its practice of launching dual-SIM variants the Xperia M too has a "dual" version to keep company. Both handsets will sport a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 5 megapixel camera with an Exmor RS sensor, and 1750 mAh battery. The official release, as well as the product page stay mum on the RAM size.

Apart from the number of SIM cards that both variants support, those opting for the single SIM variant will get to pick a Yellow handset — the other three colour versions include black, white, and purple. The handsets are expected to be available by Q3, 2013. For now, here is the known list of specifications.
