Flipboard 2.0 Comes To Google Play

Latest version of the popular online magazine-style reading app comes to Android devices.

Version 2.0 of the popular magazine making app that lets you make a listing of what you'd like you read on the go, Flipboard is out now on the Google Play store. The popular iPhone app, which is also available for Android tablets and smartphones lets you add all your news and other internet stories to a flip-style magazine design. While the service is localised for 15 countries, sadly the list doesn't include India for now.

In its latest version, the app makes it easier for users to add subscriptions to their magazine, and the magazines can now be marked private. Moreover, you can bookmark items from your web browser directly to your magazine, and the app also offers you personalised recommendations based on your subscriptions.

The app lets you add links from your Twitter timeline, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Flickr, 500px, and YouTube videos apart from stuff from other popular websites, with a tap. The app also offers Instapaper, Pocket, and Readability functions to save things to read later. If you don't already have the free app, you can give it a try now.
