BenQ Launches Two Affordable Digicams; Price Starts At Rs 7490

The high zoom bridge type, point and shoot cameras claim to offer better features at an affordable price.

BenQ has launched two new affordable camera models — GH650 and GH210. The first is a high zoom bridge camera with 26x optical zoom, while the latter is a point and shoot camera with a 12.5x optical zoom. The GH650 is a 16 mp camera with a 22.3 mm wide-angle lens and a large 3" LCD screen.

The GH210 also has a 16 mp image sensor but is slimmer and more compact. It has a MagiQ filter to add better hue intensity to photos with improved contrast and colour saturation.

In addition to the high zoom levels, both the cameras support super-macro modes, capable of shooting subjects as close as 1 cm from to the lens. Both the cameras can record 720p movies and support OIS to reduce the chances of a blurry photos due to camera shake. They also support a variety of creative colour filter modes, including the LOMO Mode that can apply different artistic effects to photos. They also support selective colour photography, meaning that only a single colour is captured and displayed, while the rest is in greyscale. They also include the usual shooting modes including Panorama, P, Av, Tv, M, Speedy Burst, Beauty Enhancer, and Advanced Smart Scene Mode.

BenQ has priced the GH650 at Rs 11,990 and the GH210 at Rs 7490 respectively. While the former is available in black, the latter is available in red.
