YouTube Will Soon Auto-Generate Playlist For Videos

YouTube Mix sorts videos dynamically according to user interest, along with enabling continuous watch of these videos.

Google which recently upgraded its native YouTube app for iOS to include live streams access and My Subscriptions feed, is set to add yet another new feature to YouTube. A Next Web report states that this new aspect, termed as YouTube Mix would feature auto-generated playlist to display videos based on the content users access and thereby sort videos based on users' "interest".

YouTube Mix enables users to watch up to 50 videos about aspects they would most likely be "interested" in. All these videos would be sorted dynamically by the auto-generated playlist that YouTube Mix offers. As of now, YouTube offers the "suggested videos" service that displays related videos on the right side of the page. With YouTube Mix set to take center-stage soon, users wouldn't require to click through each and every video, to watch.

YouTube Mix, which is said to be under test currently, would also enable users to shuffle their favourite videos, apart from providing functionality present in music players such as relocate, skip and repeat toggle. The feature would also help when users desire to view latest music videos of their favourite artist or any clip for that matter that has been a subject of a lot of "views" and "likes" by other users. One illustration here would be a user wanting to view the 10 best innings of Sachin Tendulkar. With YouTube Mix , all video clips are sorted dynamically and users can view them continuously.
