Leaked: iPad 5's Thinner Bezel Makes It Smaller

This potentially also means that the production of the new tablet has already commenced.

A new leaked photo of the upcoming iPad 5 has shown up on the French blog Nowhereelse.fr. The photos, possibly shared by a Chinese mole wearing gloves similar to those worn in the production facility, shows the white-coloured front face of the device, with a thinner bezel as compared to its predecessor and with curvy corners. This could mean that the iPad 5 is likely to be smaller in size than the iPad 4, which was also speculated from photos published in January by 9TO5Mac.

A thing to note is that these photos only show the device's front panel, thus leading to speculations that these can even be of a Chinese clone of the iDevice. That being said, there is still the possibility of it being a genuine image of the upcoming tablet, which is expected to be better than the iPad 4 in terms of display, processing power, weight, and other things. For an official confirmation about the iPad 5 though, we'll have to wait for a few more months.
