Twitter App For Windows Phone Gets A Major Revamp

Apart from a new interface, the app lets you Pin Twitter accounts to the start screen.

 

WP devices are known to have deep social networking integration, and Twitter is all set to make your tweeting experience easier. On its blog, the microblogging service has announced a new version of its Windows Phone app with several upgrades that complement the OS's Metro UI.

Apart from cosmetic changes to its design, the app features four new tabs – Home, Connect, Discover, and Me – just like on the website to help you tweet with ease.

Keeping in mind the Metro UI, you can now pin your Twitter account to the start screen as a Live Tile, making it easy for you to access your account through your smartphone. If you've already installed Twitter on your WP device, look for an update. Else, you can download the app from here.
