Google Glasses Demo Video Goes Live

Also launches “Glass Explorer” program, with each pair costing $1500.

 

Finally we can now figure out what Google’s ambitious project, simply called the Glass will help users do. The search giant has put a point-of-vision style video which explains how the hands-free commination device works. The device which works with voice-based commands can shoot pictures, record videos, offer directions, send text and video messages, relay live images, or translate in real time among other things.

Available in Charcoal, Tangerine, Shale, Cotton, Sky variants, those who find are curious to know more, can pick up a pair to use under the Glass Explorer programme. Priced at  $1500 plus tax, select users will have to head down to either New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles to pick up the pair in person. Registrations close on 27th February.
