Xolo A1000 Launched, To Take On Micromax A116

Lava's latest offering, the phablet with a 5" screen is the Xolo A1000. It is available online at a price of Rs 13,999. Unlike some Xolo offerings that ran on Intel x86 processors, this one is powered by an ARM based Mediatek MT 6577 CPU (1GHz, dual-core).

The screen size and price place it squarely against the Micromax A116 Canvas HD. While the Micromax does have better specifications (a quad core processor and an IPS panel for display), the Xolo A1000 might stand a chance in the next few days since availability of the Micromax A116 is sparse.
