Samsung Event on Feb 14: Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy Fame On The Cards?

Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is already up for pre-ordering on a leading online shopping portal.

 

Samsung has reportedly sent out invites for an event on 14th February in New Delhi with the tagline "Now your world is open", where new smartphones are speculated to come out - the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini and the Galaxy Fame.

Samsung tries to maintain that element of curiosity when on the verge of a product launch. For example, the launch event of the company's earlier offering in India, the Galaxy Grand was highly speculated about in the initial stages.

Samsung released quite a few smartphones and phablets last year with some of the notable ones being its Galaxy S3 smartphone and the Galaxy Note phablet series. Now, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is claimed to continue the legacy. Although eBay and Tradus could be construed as grey-market imports, this phone is already available on the e-commerce site tradus.com at Rs 18,749.

Interestingly, the S3 mini was not going to be available in India, as per what was said on Jan22 by Mr. Manu Sharma (GM - Samsung Mobiles India).
