Rumour: LG Optimus G Pro Specs Leaked

This successor to the LG Optimus G smartphone is expected to come with a quad core processor and 13MP camera.

 

Specifications of LG Optimus G Pro smartphone, the next increment in the LG Optimus G series have been leaked, says an Engadget report. It is said to sport a 5" display at a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, and run on the Android 4.1 Jellybean platform.

Internet rumours mention a launch in May 2013 for the LG Optimus G Pro. The LG Optimus G Pro reportedly weighs around 160 grams and is expected to come out in two colour schemes, White and Black, according to Blog of Mobile. Other details regarding the device's technical specifications are:

  • 32GB internal storage space
  • Twin cameras (13 MP rear camera and 2.4 MP front camera).
  • 1.7GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU
  • 2GB RAM
  • WLAN and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity

The older LG Optimus G is not sold in India currently, so it is probable that the G and its successor (G Pro) may both hit Indian shores together.
