Leaked BlackBerry Z10 Pictures Reveal The Device Ahead Of Launch

New leak show of the retail ads of the upcoming BB10 OS handset.

 

 

After the specs of the BlackBerry Z10 a couple weeks ago, latest leaks show Research In Motion's ad campaign for its new BlackBerry handset. The ad campaign highlights different features of the BlackBerry Z10 including Browser, Calendar, Hub and Balance, which allows you to create separate work and free-time profiles.

The BlackBerry Z10 will be the first device from RIM featuring the much-awaited BB10 operating system. From the images it appears that the phone will be available in Black and White. Here is the rumored list of specifications of the device:

  • BlackBerry 10 OS.
  • HSPA+ / UMTS (850, 900, 1700, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/GPRS (850, 900, 1800 MHz); LTE Bands 2, 4, 5, 13, 17 (700, 850, 1700, 1900 MHz).
  • Dual-core 1.5 GHz TI OMAP 4470 (Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 for US and Canada).
  • 4.2", 1280x768 (356 PPI) screen with 24-bit colours and a 15:9 aspect ratio.
  • 8 megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash and 1080p recording, 2 megapixel front facing camera.
  • 2 GB RAM, 16/32 GB internal storage, microSD card slot.
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, micro-USB, micro-HDMI, A-GPS.
  • Sensors: Ambient light, Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Gyroscope, Face Detect for phone calls.
  • 1800 mAh removable battery.

RIM is planning to launch the smartphone on 30th January this year. So we will know more about the handset and its new OS in a few weeks
