Samsung releases One UI 4 with Android 12 for Galaxy S21 devices

Samsung finally rolls out the long awaited One UI 4 update for Galaxy S21 devices

For the last few weeks Samsung has publicly tested the update to One UI 4 based on Android 12 of its Galaxy S21 flagship smartphone family, and today is the long awaited day. The company has announced that its officially rolling out One UI 4 to the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra. This comes hours after an inadvertently posted rollout schedule first showed that these devices would get the update this month.

But as usual, the rollout starts today, but expect to wait a few weeks for the update to reach every single devic. Oh and there's also a new update for the Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch3, and Galaxy Watch Active2 that will allow "users to enjoy enhanced health features and new watch faces".

Samsung hasn’t revealed any more details than that, so it's unclear when the One UI 4 update will drop. Probably the company's headquarters in Korea, but let’s see. Reports from users should be coming within the hour.

One UI 4 comes with a host of new Color Palettes, reimagined widgets, more GIFs and stickers available from the keyboard, and a wider variety of emoji features. The new software will alert you when an app tries to use your mic or camera, and includes a new privacy dashboard that stores those new settings in one convenient place.
