OnePlus is getting ready to launch the OnePlus 9RT, a potential gaming phone, in India. 

Mobile games used to be a way to kill time, but today mobile gaming is a serious endeavor. With games like Call of Duty, BGMI and Asphalt 9 and more, you need a good smartphone to have a good gaming experience. OnePlus plans to offer that with the OnePlus 9R.

OnePlus 9R, though not marketed as a gaming smartphone like the ROG Phone 5, offers everything a mobile gamer would want.

OnePlus 9R is powered by the almighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, which can handle pretty much anything. This is paired with 12GB of RAM, allowing users to open several apps at once without any hiccups. The OnePlus 9R comes with up to 256GB of storage and also uses UFS 3.1 storage which is almost thrice as fast as the UFS 3.0. 

The OnePlus 9R is also 5G ready, allowing users to experience high-speed internet once 5G arrives in India. But heat could become a major issue and to keep this issue under check, the phone comes with 14 temperature sensors. These sensors allow the OnePlus 9R to maintain a cool temperature at all times. The cooling occurs by way of the internal graphite and copper-lined vapour chamber.

OnePlus 9R has a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz and HDR 10+ support. The display is obviously great for gaming but more than that it provides a good viewing experience. The 120Hz refresh rate makes the display feel super smooth.  

Aside from the hardware, OnePlus has also added a dedicated Pro Gaming Mode that improves the performance even more by optimising the phone’s settings. It gets rid of any pesky notifications while gaming. 

At a starting price of Rs 34,999, the OnePlus 9R has it all, including a decent camera.
