Apple Event 2019: iPhone 11, new iPad, Apple Watch 5 And More

Apple has unveiled its iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro lineup and new Apple Watch Series 5 at an event in Cupertino.

 

Apple has officially announced the new iPhone 11 at its Special Event held on September 10, 2019 in Cupertino at the Steve Jobs Theater. There is also the iPhone Pro, coming in two sizes with a triple camera system, 7th generation iPad and Apple Watch 5 from the company as Apple fans were waiting to hear.
 
While in the past Apple provided a live stream link only on its Safari browser or on the Microsoft Edge browser, this year for the first time Apple fans were able to watch the unveiling of the awaited iPhone 11 lineup on YouTube.
 
iPhone 11 with dual rear cameras
The new iPhone 11 smartphone is a successor to the company's iPhone XR and was its biggest selling smartphone in the 2018 iPhone lineup. Now with iPhone 11, the company is making things even better on its cheapest new iPhone. In addition, the company also showcased the new iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max phones. The new iPhone Pro comes with a triple camera offering a regular, telephoto and ultra-wide angle lenses.
 
iPhone 11 comes with a 6.1-inch Retina Display with the brand new Apple A13 Bionic chipset and will be available at a starting price of $699. There's a dual-camera at the back, as the company claims that the new chip offers the most powerful CPU and GPU combination offering the best of performance. 
 
The iPhone 11 is water resistant and comes in six colors – Purple, White, Green, Yellow, Black, and Red - and its pre-orders will open September 13 in US and over 30 countries around the world. The sales will reportedly begin September 20 in the first batch for countries and September 27 in India.
 
Apple says iPhone 11 is packed with great new abilities and features, including the brand-new dual rear camera setup, Spatial Audio, Dolby Atmos support, and improved battery life.

The Pro Lineup for improved performance
 
Apple today announced iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, a new pro line for iPhone that delivers advanced performance for users who want the very best smartphone. The new Super Retina XDR display is a pro display with the brightest display ever in an iPhone.
 
The Apple-designed A13 Bionic chip provides unparalleled performance for every task while enabling an unprecedented leap in battery life to easily get through the day. A new triple-camera system provides a pro-level camera experience with an Ultra Wide, Wide and Telephoto camera, delivering huge improvements to low-light photography and offering the highest quality video in a smartphone that is great for shooting action videos. 
 
iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max come in four gorgeous finishes including a beautiful new midnight green, and will be available  from $999 and $1099 respectively. Apple iPhone 11 prices will start at Rs. 64,900 in India for the base 64GB variant.
 
Apple will retain the iPhone XR in its lineup despite unveiling its successor, and it will be priced at $599 (approx Rs. 43,100).
 
Apple brings 7th generation iPad
Apple also introduced the new seventh-generation iPad, bringing more screen area and support for the full-sized Smart Keyboard to its most popular and most affordable iPad.
 
“The new iPad packs even more value into our most popular and affordable iPad model featuring a bigger 10.2-inch Retina display, support for Apple Pencil and for the first time, the full-size Smart Keyboard,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Product Marketing. “The new iPad was built to run iPadOS, which introduces powerful new ways to multitask, manage and mark up documents, use Apple Pencil and view more information at a glance on a redesigned Home screen. 
 
Starting at just $329, the upgraded iPad features a stunning 10.2-inch Retina display and the latest innovations including Apple Pencil support, the fast A10 Fusion chip, advanced cameras and sensors, unmatched portability and connectivity, ease of use and great all-day battery life. The new iPad is available in US stores starting Monday, September 30.
 
Apple Watch Series 5 launched
Apple today announced Apple Watch Series 5, debuting an Always-On Retina display that never sleeps, so it’s easy to see the time and other important information, without raising or tapping the display. New location features, from a built-in compass to current elevation, help users better navigate their day, while international emergency calling allows customers to call emergency services directly from Apple Watch in over 150 countries, even without iPhone nearby. Apple Watch Series 5 is available in a wider range of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, ceramic and an all-new titanium. Combined with the power of watchOS 6, users are empowered to take charge of their health and fitness with new features like Cycle Tracking, the Noise app and Activity Trends.
