Samsung Galaxy A8s Gets A New Gradient Variant

The Korean company unveils pink hues just in time for Valentine's Day.

 

The Galaxy A8s is the Samsung's first smartphone with a punch-hole type display. It was launched in China back in December 2018 and initially came in Elf Blue, Aurora Black, and Alien Silver colours. Now just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Korean company has introduced two new hues. First up is Blue/Pink and the other is Yellow/Pink and will be available in 6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage variant. The new gradient variants could be bought right away via Samsung’s website in China and JD.com. The Galaxy A8s in gradient finishes is priced at CNY 2799 (approx Rs 29,000).
 
 
The Samsung Galaxy A8s sports a premium 3D glass back panel along with a metal frame. As for the specifications it sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O LCD display. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC (System on Chip) under its hood. It comes equipped with 6 GB or 8 GB RAM coupled with 128 GB of internal storage.
 
On the photography front, it comes with a vertically stacked triple rear camera setup comprising of a 24-megapixel primary sensor, 10-megapixel telephoto, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For selfie fanatics there is a 24-megapixel snapper that sits in the display hole.
 
The Galaxy A8s runs on Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box and is backed by a 3,400 mAh battery which comes with Fast charging tech.
