Samsung's OnePlus Killer Will Hit The Stores On January 20

Samsung Galaxy A8+ will heat-up the mid-range segment.

 

Samsung's recently announced Galaxy A8+ (2018) will hit the stores on January 20. The mid-range phone offers a sleek design made of premium glass and metal. It also comes with IP68 cettification for water and dust resistance. The A8+ costs Rs 32,990 and will be available exclusively from Amazon India. With such pricing, Samsung is taking the OnePlus 5T head on.


 
The Galaxy A8+ is the first A series device to sport a tall screen with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Like most Samsung phones these days, this the A8+ sports a 6-inch Full HD+ OLED screen. The phone is powered by Samsung's own Exynos 7885 chipset. It has 6 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.
 
The A8+ offers a dual camera setup on the front. This means you can get shallow depth of field effect in selfies. At the rear is a conventional 16-megapixel single lens module.
 
The Samsung Galaxy A8+ is compatible with 4G VoLTE networks including Reliance Jio. It supports dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5. It has got a fingerprit sensor on its back. It draws power from a 3500 mAh battery which comes with fast charging tech.
