Panasonic Launches P99 Smartphone For Rs 7,490

The smartphone features basic features and doesn’t attract you if you are a smartphone aficionado.

 

Technology giant Panasonic has recently announced a new smartphone P99 as an addition to its ‘P Series’, which comes with a price tag of Rs 7,490.

The smartphone features a 5 inch HD Display, while being powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core processor paired with a 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It also features a 2,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

The device further supports 4G VoLTE connectivity, and includes WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS as part of its connectivity options.

It also comes with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera, and is said to be available in three different colors — Champagne Gold, Black, and Blue.

Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, “We are happy to announce an addition to our P-Series smartphone range, the stylish P99 with improved display and various front and back camera modes for our consumers. The new device is equipped with upgraded version of Android 7.0Nougat so that you can multitask and are connected to the world. This new launch will expand consumers’ choice of mobile phones in this price segment.
