Honor V9 Play Budget Smartphone Launched In China

The smartphone comes in two variants — 3 GB RAM and 4 GB RAM.

 

Huawei has recently launched yet another budget smartphone under its sub-brand Honor, dubbed as the Honor V9 Play, available for purchase in China as of now. The smartphone is all set to go on sale starting Sept 12.

Honor V9 Play has been launched by the company in two variants — one with a 3 GB RAM and another with 4 GB RAM, both priced at CNY 999 and CNY 1,199 respectively. This should translate to around Rs 9,800 and Rs 11,700 respectively.

Design-wise, the smartphone comes with a metal uni-body, featuring fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. The device also features volume and power buttons on its right side. Moving further, the home button is missing and the device also features very thin bezels.

Technically speaking, the Honor V9 Play features a 5.2 inch HD Display with 2.5D curved glass on top of it, while being powered by MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor paired with a 32 GB internal storage. It also sports a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie camera, while a 3,000 mAh battery backs up the phone.

Other features include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE connectivity, GPS, Micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth, WiFi, and sensors like ambient light, digital compass, and accelerometer.
